Aikido of Red Bank has strong roots in the practice of traditional Aikido -- a powerful, yet peaceful, martial art -- as handed down from the founder, Morihei Ueshiba, or O'Sensei.

Chief Instructor James Soviero has been practicing Aikido since 1991 and holds the rank of Godan, or 5th degree black belt. He is a certified instructor, Shidoin, recognized by the United States Aikido Federation.
